Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm and Maintenance Engineer to join our established team based in Marlow. This field-based role primarily covers a 50-mile radius, though willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight when required is essential.

‍Key Responsibilities:

• Attend sites for scheduled maintenance.
• Respond to emergency call-outs, including out-of-hours on a rota basis.
• Service fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Maintain a high standard of client care in face-to-face interactions, telephone calls, and emails.
• Ensure compliance with systems.
• Optimize efficiencies by combining geography(travel time) and time required on-site per task.
• Record all activities on company software systems, capturing photos and report sheets.
• Provide first-class support and feedback to a diverse client base.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Proven experience in all aspects of Active Fire Alarms and Maintenance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage workloads effectively.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to travel with possible overnight stays when requested.
• Experience and high-level working knowledge of Apollo, Gent, Notifier & Advanced systems.
• Electrical background.
• Clean driving license.
• Capable of fault finding across conventional and addressable systems.
